Margot Robbie has been the talk of the town since Barbie. One of her plans for the future is to take a break from acting so that she doesn’t annoy her fans.
Thanks to the Barbie hype, Margot Robbie is considered one of the biggest actresses on the planet. While other colleagues are keen to capitalize on the peak of popularity, Robbie would rather be behind the camera in the near future so as not to get on viewers’ nerves.
Margot Robbie wants to “disappear from the screen”: This is what the Barbie star is planning for the future
Talking to Deadline, Robbie explained:
‘I think everyone’s probably sick of me. I should disappear from the screen for a while. If I’m in a new movie too soon, people will say, ‘Her again? We just spent a whole summer with her. That’s over.’

This doesn’t mean, however, that Robbie is going to take it easy now. When asked by acquaintances whether she will be taking a break, she simply replied: “You know I’m a producer, right?” In the interview, she mentions Olivia Wilde’s Christmas comedy Naughty as her next production. With her company LuckyChap, she is also responsible for the Ocean’s Eleven prequel with Ryan Gosling.
Robbie also wants to direct films in the future. “I really want to direct,” she revealed in the interview. “I’m itching to do that. And I don’t know how much longer I can suppress [the itch]. “
