The tough-as-nails ex-military man not only cleans up after his enemies in the action series of the same name, but also generates impressive streaming figures. According to an analysis for December 2023, only one more Netflix film was watched in the USA than Reacher on Amazon.
Reacher reached almost 2 billion minutes watched in one week after the start of season 2
As Deadline reports, the American streaming charts portal Nielsen has analyzed the viewing figures for December 2023. It revealed that 1.7 billion minutes of Reacher were watched by the American population in the week from December 11 to December 17.

The only thing better than this result is the apocalyptic sci-fi film Leave the World Behind, which was streamed on Netflix for just under 2 billion minutes during this period. According to Deadline, Nielsen did not disclose exactly which Reacher episodes accounted for the almost 2 billion streamed minutes. However, it is quite possible that a large part of this was brought in primarily by the first two episodes of season 2.
What’s next for Reacher on Amazon Prime after season 2?
After the new episodes, fans of the action series can look forward to more. A 3rd Reacher season has already been commissioned. A start date for this is not yet known. The new Reacher episodes will presumably be released sometime this year
