6Years after his last outing, Ryan Reynolds returns as the Marvel antihero. Check out the first teaser trailer for Deadpool 3 aka Deadpool & Wolverine, in which he meets Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine
Wade Wilson a.k.a. Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds) is officially joining the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) this year. And he’s not alone. Deadpool 3 reunites him with the hero he met in his first (unspeakable) movie adventure X-Men Origins: Wolverine: Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine. Accordingly, the film now also bears the official title Deadpool & Wolverine.
The first teaser trailer was released last night at the final game of the US football league NFL, the Super Bowl. The two-and-a-half minute video is full of meta references and brings back the TVA (Time Variance Authority) from Loki. At the end, the shadow of Wolverine looms over the image

Deadpool 3 will be the only MCU movie in 2024
2023 was a difficult year for the MCU, with financial disappointments like The Marvels and Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania alternating with successes like Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. The coming year could represent a recalibration.
Deadpool 3 will be the only MCU film in 2024 and not only that: the blockbuster is the film that links Fox’s former X-Men universe with Disney’s MCU. This is probably made possible by the concept of the multiverse that Marvel Studios established in Loki, Spider-Man: No Way Home and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
As a result, not only will Deadpool and Wolverine meet in the MCU film, but Jennifer Garner will also return as Elektra. Garner last played the role in Elektra (2005) and Daredevil (2003), hinting at how deep director Shawn Levy and his extensive writing team are rummaging through Marvel’s cinematic past. More cameos are to be expected.
