The superhero series The Boys regularly shocks viewers with its abysmal nature on Amazon Prime. But there’s another story that will continue in a few weeks’ time.
It’s not just Marvel and DC that dominate the superhero genre. Amazon Prime Video has also been able to establish itself as a serious port of call in this area in recent years, most notably with the gruff satire The Boys. It is difficult to tell who is really good and who is bad. All the characters have questionable facets.
However, The Boys is not the only abysmal superhero series in Amazon’s streaming offering. Since 2021, it has also included Invincible, which features brutal images. Although Invincible comes in an animated guise: In terms of toughness and cheeky remarks, the series has nothing to hide from The Boys.
