At Comic-Con in San Diego 2022, MCU boss Kevin Feige revealed two new Avengers films that will continue the climax of Avengers 3: Infinity War and Avengers 4: Endgame.

Release: When is the theatrical release of Avengers 5?
After a postponement, Avengers 5 is set to hit theaters on May 1, 2026. Avengers 6 has been postponed to May 7, 2027
When will the first trailer for Avengers 5 be released?
Marvel fans will have to wait quite a while for the first preview of Avengers 5. We certainly won’t see any footage from the MCU blockbuster before 2024

After Thanos, Kang was supposed to be the new main villain in the MCU. We already got to see a variant of him in the Loki series and in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania in the form of Jonathan Majors.
After he was convicted in court, Marvel immediately ended its collaboration with Majors. The Avengers 5 script is now being rewritten. It is not yet known what Majors’ replacement will look like. The previous Avengers 5 additional title Kang has also been canceled.
