This is what it’s about: Years ago, CIA assassin James Dial (Wesley Snipes) let terrorist leader Ali Mahmud Jahar (Nikolai Sotirov) slip through his fingers. Dial is now retired when his former boss Jeremy Collins (Ralph Brown) makes him an offer: He gets another chance to take out Jahar in London. Dial accepts

However, complications arise during the assignment, which suddenly put Dial himself in the crossfire. The local police are after him and Collins offers no support either. He has to cover up the murders he is involved in himself
An action flick with Game of Thrones stars, reminiscent of Léon – The Professional and Reacher
Wesley Snipes was one of the icons of action films, especially in the 1990s. After Blade: Trinity in 2004, he was rarely seen in major Hollywood films and tended to concentrate on B-movies abroad. One of these is The Contractor, which was released in 2007. He is also joined by two stars from Game of Thrones, Lena Headey and Charles Dance.
In the movie, Dial also meets twelve-year-old Emily, played by Eliza Bennett. The friendship that develops between the killer and the child is very reminiscent of elements from Léon – The Professional with Jean Reno and Natalie Portman. Although the story of The Contractor cannot keep up with the masterpiece, the acting performances are impressive
The fact that the CIA assassin himself becomes the hunted is also reminiscent of the currently popular action series Reacher. In season 2, the eponymous Reacher has just had to hide from the government in order to take out the real bad guys.
