The sequel to Zack Snyder’s Rebel Moon is coming to Netflix in mid-April. Now the director has spoken about it again and teased a massive war film.
With Rebel Moon – Part 1: Child of Fire, Zack Snyder introduced his space army, which goes into battle against the powerful ruler Balisarius and his henchmen. After the prelude, the sequel Rebel Moon – Part 2: The Scar Maker is coming to Netflix in April. The director has now spoken about the fact that we can look forward to a furious war film
One of the biggest Netflix blockbusters of the year: Zack Snyder teases sci-fi sequel Rebel Moon 2 as a war movie
In an interview with Empire, the director promised that the second installment of his sci-fi universe will be much tougher:
‘It’s 100 percent a war movie. There’s a lot more action than in the first movie, very intense and crazy action.
Snyder also promises an emotional rollercoaster ride with the characters that were introduced in the first Rebel Moon film and assembled into an army. Part 2, according to the director, will reveal more of the characters’ backstories, which should make their actions on the battlefield even more cathartic.

Snyder has already talked about how he likes Rebel Moon 2 much better than Part 1, because the introduction of the many characters in the predecessor should pay off emotionally here
