Yellowstone creator Taylor Sheridan launched a crime series starring Sylvester Stallone two years ago, for which a second season is now in production. However, it was somewhat lost on Paramount+.
Taylor Sheridan is not only the king of the Yellowstone series cosmos. Since 2022, he has also been running the crime comedy Tulsa King on the streaming service Paramount+ with none other than Sylvester Stallone. The Expendables star has recently been back in front of the camera in Oklahoma and Atlanta.

What is the Sylvester Stallone series Tulsa King about?
At the beginning, Dwight “The General” Manfredi (Stallone) is released from prison after 25 years and is immediately asked to get back into crooked business. To be more precise, the New Yorker is to set up a criminal operation in remote Tulsa in the state of Oklahoma, which his gangster colleagues have not exactly imposed on him with good intentions. Nevertheless, he does his worst to build a new empire with illustrious allies in a foreign environment
Season 2: What has changed in front of and behind the camera?
According to Deadline, Craig Zisk has been hired as the new director of the format. He is known for his work on series such as Weeds, Nip/Tuck and, most recently, Halo. He is also involved with Tulsa King as an executive producer, as are Sheridan and former showrunner Terence Winter.
Annabella Sciorra, who plays Dwight’s younger sister Joanne, and Tatiana Zappardino aka his estranged daughter Tina, have been promoted for season 2 and have joined the main cast of the series.
They also include Andrea Savage as love interest Agent Beale, Martin Starr as drug dealer, Max Casella as gangster Manny, Domenick Lombardozzi as underboss Chickie, Vincent Piazza as his top capo and Garrett Hedlund as bar owner Mitch.
