The Mucklas… and how they came to Pettersson and Findus: Children’s film with animation passages about the adventures of the Mucklas with the popular characters Pettersson and Findus
Film plot and background
Children’s film with animation passages about the adventures of the Mucklas with the popular characters Pettersson and Findus.
“The Mucklas and how they came to be Petterson and Findus” tells the prequel to the successful Swedish children’s book series by Sven Nordqvist. But this time the focus is not on the old man Pettersson and his cat Findus, but on their animated housemates, the Mucklas. These little creatures feel most at home in the midst of chaos and clutter, but in an increasingly tidy world, their habitat is dwindling. The last tribe of Mucklas has been living in Mr Hansson’s quaint shop for ages, with just the right amount of chaos for their taste. But when a new owner takes over the shop, the cosy chaos is in danger. Because the order fanatic and exterminator is trying by all means to get rid of his unwanted housemates.
So the courageous Mucklas Svunja (Roxana Samadi), Tjorben (Marcel Mann) and Smartö (Ali Samadi Ahadi) embark on an adventurous search for a new home for their tribe. In the process, they overcome several obstacles and learn what is possible with good team spirit and true friendship. The official trailer already shows some impressions from the turbulent adventures of the Mucklas:
