Gladiator battles and corruption in the Roman Empire: This is Those About To Die
The series is set in Rome in the year 79 AD. Bread and games rule the Roman Empire. While the center of the empire receives a large influx of slave laborers, the Roman people are entertained by bloody and spectacular gladiator fights and chariot races in the legendary Circus Maximus. But a larger arena is soon to be built, one that will claim the bloodlust of the people and the lives of many workers: the Colosseum.
For Those About To Die, Roland Emmerich brought together Anthony Hopkins (The Silence of the Lambs) as Emperor Vespian, Iwan Rheon (Game of Thrones) as Tenax, Tom Hughes (Victoria) as Titus Flavianus, Sara Martins (Death in Paradise) and Emilio Sakraya (60 Minutes) as Xenon, among others, in front of the camera.
When is Those About To Die coming to Amazon?
