With a manageable budget of 25 million dollars, the film adaptation by and starring Justin Baldoni has so far grossed over 179 million dollars worldwide, according to Box Office Mojo. This means that the film is already a financial success, with little standing in the way of a sequel.
Author Colleen Hoover also published the book sequel It starts with us in 2022. * In it, Atlas (Brandon Sklenar), Lily’s (Blake Lively) first love, takes center stage in the plot. After breaking up with Ryle (Justin Baldoni), he stands by his childhood sweetheart, comforting her and rekindling old feelings.

Only One More Time director suggests Blake Lively as part 2 director
In the Moviepilot interview, Baldoni, star and director of Part 1, was asked whether he could also imagine an adaptation of the novel sequel. His answer was cautious and he said that he was open to anything and that talks about it had yet to take place.
He was more specific to Entertainment Tonight and instead suggested his co-star to direct an It starts with us movie:
‘I think there are better people for that. I think Blake Lively is ready to direct. I think so
At this stage, a sequel to the film version of Just One More Time – It Ends with Us has not yet been officially announced. However, due to the financial success and the existing source material, there is a lot to suggest that a second part is coming.
