In a few weeks, Agatha All Along will continue the legacy of the Marvel series WandaVision on Disney+. The search for diabolical Mephisto clues could also start all over again, as the latest trailer suggests
A new era of the Marvel Cinematic Universe on Disney+ began over three years ago with WandaVision. In just a few weeks, the series sequel Agatha All Along will be released, featuring the unpredictable and evil witch Agatha Harkness (Kathryn Hahn) as the main character.
After the first trailer already provided insights into the dark mix of horror and comedy, the latest preview reveals a big mystery. The nameless main character, played by Heartstopper star Joe Locke, who wants to free Agatha from her spell and lead her on the magical witch’s path, was previously only officially referred to as “Teen”. And now we know why
With the Marvel series Agatha All Along, the search for Mephisto clues begins anew
Due to a magical seal, the young magician and Agatha fanboy cannot pronounce his name. His true name thus becomes a mystery, just like the identity of the curious WandaVision neighbor Agens. Many fans are already certain that the character is the comic book superhero Billy Kaplan, who is a reincarnation of Wanda Maximoff’s magically created son.

Whether Teen really becomes Billy (Maximoff or Kaplan) and thus the later Young Avenger Wiccan is not the most exciting mystery behind the character. Even more puzzling is the question of who cast an anonymity spell on him in the first place. The fact that the magical seal is shaped like an “M” has already led fans to come up with some wild theories.
One obvious one is that the M could stand for Maximoff’s surname and thus be a clue to Teen’s true origins. Or does the M stand for Mephisto? Many Marvel fans associate this name with one thing above all: weeks of frustrating guesswork.
In WandaVision, the clues piled up, producing all kinds of convincing theories that the Marvel devil Mephisto could be behind the Westview events. All the greater was the disappointment that it was ultimately probably the biggest Red Herring in the MCU. No, the devil wasn’t in the detail after all.
That could now change with Agatha All Along. After all, occultism and dark magic play an important role here – as well as a mysterious M. There are also already rumors that Mephisto will play a role in the Ironheart series, which is due to start in 2025. So there’s a good chance that the most diabolical MCU twist could become a reality after more than 3 years
