After the finale of “She-Hulk”, many fans might be wondering what happens next. Is there a second season coming? Will Jennifer and Bruce be involved in a “World War Hulk”? Or will we not see She-Hulk again until “Avengers 5” or “Avengers 6”?
What a finale: With the (for now?) last episode “She-Hulk”, the series directors around head writer Jessica Gao have delivered a completely crazy meta-fun never seen before in this form, in which Jennifer Walters aka She-Hulk (Tatiana Maslany) just leaves her own series to prevent the impending generic action showdown with the writing team and an A.I. called K.E.V.I.N.. Now that this side of the character has been unleashed, the question of She-Hulk’s future in the MCU naturally becomes even more moot.

Practically, She-Hulk puts in a few ideas of his own: For instance, Jen tells K.E.V.I.N. that she has some ideas for Season 2’s “She-Hulk”. Is this already the confirmation for Season 2? Unfortunately, things are not quite that easy.
Because Jessica Gao revealed to us in the interview after the “She-Hulk” finale that she had already written the whole scene pretty much three years ago. So the various allusions (more on that in a moment) are not brand-new and do not take into account the success or failure of “She-Hulk” when it is released on Disney+, which also decides whether or not it will be continued.
In addition, very few MCU series have received a second season so far. The only exceptions are “What If?” and “Loki”, while “Moon Knight”, “Ms. Marvel” and co. were rather self-contained mini-series that were meant to establish the title characters and prepare them for future adventures.
On the other hand, “She-Hulk” would lend itself particularly well to a second season, because with the “court case of the week” structure of the series and the avoidance of too much involvement in the larger MCU contexts, “She-Hulk” is an almost classic TV series. In any case, we could easily imagine a second season in which Jennifer settles a superhero case in court and takes action as She-Hulk herself for a change.

Either way, She-Hulk will also be making an appearance on the big screen – although K.E.V.I.N.’s “See you on the big screen” turns out to be just a mean joke in the sequel, the real Kevin (namely Kevin Feige) has already confirmed that She-Hulk will of course also appear in upcoming MCU films. This could mean the upcoming “Avengers 5: The Kang Dynasty” or “Avengers 6: Secret Wars”.
But a suitable film would also be a possible “World War Hulk”, which has already been hinted at since “She-Hulk” episode 1 and to which there was a particularly clear hint in the finale with the introduction of Skaar (Wil Deusner). Also, as She-Hulk says to K.E.V.I.N. when he tries to justify the Hulk appearance in the finale, “Oh, save it for the movie.”
