With the crime series In Eternal Debt, Netflix landed a huge hit at the beginning of the year. Now the release date of the next Harlan Coben adaptation has been set.
Netflix has secured the name Harlan Coben as a reliable source for new, successful crime series for some time now. Just in time for the start of the new year, the streaming service released One for the Money, one of the biggest hits from the Coben cosmos. Now this success is to be repeated.
I Miss You is the title of the latest thriller drama based on a Coben novel. After the project was announced a long time ago, we finally know when the series will arrive on Netflix. We don’t have to wait too long for the crime series.
When does I Miss You start on Netflix?
It’s official: I Miss You starts on Netflix on January 1, 2025, exactly one year after the last Harlan Coben adaptation. The first season includes a total of five episodes. There will most likely not be a season 2, as the project was designed as a miniseries. You can check out the poster below.

“Nothing burns like an old flame,” is the tagline of the series. The ominous words are followed by a direct translation on the poster: a country house goes up in flames. The four main cast members hover above it: Jessica Plummer, Rosalind Eleazar, Richard Armitage and Lenny Henry.
All fans of the Coben film adaptations should pay attention at this point at the latest. Wait, Richard Armitage? Again? Yes, indeed! I Miss You marks the fourth (!) Coben series with Armitage in a leading role. Prior to that, he starred in I’ll Keep Your Secret (2020), Fall Guy (2021), and Never Let Me Go (2024).
