Start: When is The Last of Us season 2 coming?
The Last of Us Season 2 is one of many series whose production was put on hold for a long time due to the major Hollywood double strike in 2023, which is why it is taking longer than expected. The good news, however, is that Season 2 is now in the can. Filming took place in Canada between February 2024 and August 2024.
The 7 new episodes are scheduled to premiere in spring 2025. A specific start date has not yet been set. We expect it to start between March and April 2025. In Germany, season 2 of The Last of Us will again be shown on Sky and WOW at the same time as it airs on HBO in the US.

Three new additions to the cast of The Last of Us are particularly exciting for fans of the video game. On the one hand, there is Abby, probably the most important new character in season 2.
