Ferguson is not only the leading actress in the series, but also one of its biggest fans. She is thrilled about the renewal, which has been reported by the Hollywood Reporter, among others:
I have loved every second of bringing Juliette to life. And I am extremely proud of what we have built with Silo since the first episode. I can’t wait to tackle the final two seasons, which beautifully tell the dystopian story to its conclusion.
From the statements of showrunner Graham Yost (Justified) and Apple TV+ programming boss Matt Cherniss, one thing is clear: the sci-fi series should be allowed to complete its story. It will adapt the three-volume book by Hugh Howey in its entirety.
