All kinds of highlights await you again on Disney Plus in November 2022: including the fantasy romance “Curse Again” with Amy Adams, “Santa Clause” as a series and the return to the wild heart of Zootopia.
As always towards the end of the month, Disney has announced which movies and series will be released on Disney+ next month, in this case November 2022. Below you’ll find a list sorted by release date, but before that we’re highlighting some series and movie picks for you
AFTER ZOOMANIA COMES ZOOTOPIA+
With “Zoomania”, Walt Disney not only brought one of the most popular animated films of recent years to cinemas in 2016, but it also managed to win the Oscar for Best Animated Film at the 2017 Acadamy Awards. From 9 November, “Zootopia+” will take you back to the fast-paced metropolis of mammals. This is a series of short films that will give you an even more detailed insight into the lives of the world’s most fascinating inhabitants.
SCOTT CALVIN IS BACK!
After three movie appearances as Scott Calvin, Tim Allen (“Listen to Who’s Hammering”) returns as Father Christmas on 16 November. In “Santa Clause: The Series” Scott faces a great danger: Because Christmas is becoming increasingly unpopular, his Christmas magic is also disappearing. As a result, Scott has great problems performing his job properly and is considering hanging up his red coat. But first he has to find a worthy successor.
A FANTASY CLASSIC BECOMES A SERIES
“Willow” by Ron Howard (“Illuminati”) is a classic of fantasy cinema. Now, almost 35 years after its cinema release, a sequel series will be released on 30 November, also titled “Willow”. In it, a Nelwyn mage returns after years of rescuing little Empress Elora Danan to convince a group of heroes who couldn’t be more different to embark on a unique rescue mission. Warwick Davis once again takes on the titular role.
THE LATE SEQUEL TO “CURSED” WITH AMY ADAMS
15 years have passed since Giselle (Amy Adams) and Robert (Patrick Dempsey) said yes to each other in “Cursed”. In “Cursed Again”, available on Disney+ from 18 November, Giselle is more than frustrated with life in the big city. In search of a more magical life, the couple decides to move to the sleepy suburban community of Monroeville with their growing family, but the quick fix doesn’t come for now. A very different wind blows in the suburbs and the local queen bee, Malvina Monroe, does everything she can to make Giselle feel constantly out of place. But when Giselle turns the whole town into a real fairytale, the chaos really starts…
