Paramount+ has released the first 1923 teaser trailer for the newest Yellowstone prequel starring acting powerhouses Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren. The series will be available for streaming on December 18.
The 1923 teaser offers us a preview of the show’s action-packed sequences with Ford and Mirren. It highlights the dangerous and violent efforts that the Dutton family has taken in order to secure their legacy and wealth.
“1923 focuses on the Dutton family’s next two generations as they struggle to survive historic drought, lawlessness and prohibition, and an epidemic of cattle theft; all battled beneath the cloud of Montana’s great depression, which preceded the nation by almost a decade,” reads the synopsis.
The upcoming Yellowstone prequel is produced by MTV Entertainment Studios, 101 Studios, and Bosque Ranch Productions. Executive producers are Taylor Sheridan, John Linson, Art Linson, David C. Glasser, Ron Burkle, Bob Yari, and Ben Richardson.
Joining Ford and Mirren are Brandon Sklenar, Darren Mann, Michelle Randolph, James Badge Dale, Marley Shelton, Brian Geraghty, Aminah Nieves, Julia Schlaepfer, and Jerome Flynn.
The original series is created by Taylor Sheridan and John Linson. It stars Kevin Costner, Luke Grimes, Kelly Reilly, Wes Bentley, Cole Hauser, Kelsey Asbille, and more. It is currently in production for its upcoming fifth season, which will premiere this November.
