The supposed start date of the third season of “The Mandalorian” was recently leaked. It was supposed to be on 22 February 2023 – but that’s not true! We have to wait a little longer for the return of Din Djarin and Grogu.
New adventures of Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal) and his protégé Grogu will not take place in February 2023, but in March: During the Comic-Con Experience in Brazil it was revealed that “The Mandalorian” season 3 will start on 1 March 2023 on Disney+. Thus, the previous leak of the alleged start date has been proven wrong and fans will have to wait a whole week longer for the reunion with the Mandalorian.
What has not changed, on the other hand: 1 March is also a Wednesday. Disney+ moved the main start day of its new series episodes from Friday to Wednesday some time ago. While the episodes of seasons 1 and 2 of “The Mandalorian” were still available on Fridays, you can now look forward to new adventures in the “Star Wars” universe in the middle of the week. In addition, a brand new picture of Din Djarin and Grogu aka Baby Yoda has been released:

New scenes from season 3 were also shown at Comic-Con, though they were not released online. According to Collider, it’s said to be an extended version of the trailer shown at Star Wars Celebration – which you can see at the end of the article.
THESE NEW SCENES WERE SHOWN AT COMIC-CON
Among other things, Grogu is said to have used his new power abilities in the clip from the Brazilian CCXP. In addition, according to the description, there were brief glimpses of Coruscant, Kowakian lizard apes and several Mandalorians working together. In one scene, Bo-Katan (Katee Sackhoff) had confronted Din Djarin about where he had been during the war.
In season 3 of “The Mandalorian”, Din Djarin sets off for Mandalore to cleanse himself of the shame of having taken off his helmet. That this was the only way to become a Mandalorian again (at least in the eyes of his special cult) was revealed to him by Armsmaster (Emily Swallow) in the spin-off “The Book of Boba Fett”.
In season 3 of “The Mandalorian”, in addition to Bo-Katan, Greef Karga (Carl Weathers), Peli Motto (Amy Sedaris) and Moff Gideon (Giancarlo Esposito) are also back. New to the cast is “Back to the Future” star Christopher Lloyd.
