One of the best Netflix series finally continues: Sci-Fi, Horror &

by Mike

After more than four years of waiting, the series “Black Mirror” finally continues and a first impression is given by the new trailer! The 6th season of the Netflix series will start in the summer – and the cast can definitely be seen.

The fifth season of “Black Mirror” is now four years ago and included only three episodes – for fans a pretty meager (albeit great!) Series experience. And after that, unfortunately, nothing came for a long time. Whether the series would continue at all was not really clear after the last season. After all, there were some problems with the rights to the story. But now there is good news:

“Black Mirror” is back with a sixth season, starting in June 2023 and has a whole lot of superstars on board – as the first trailer already lets us guess.

“BLACK MIRROR” SEASON 6 SCORES WITH HIGH STAR DENSITY

The cast list for the sixth season of “Black Mirror” is truly imposing. Unfortunately, it is not yet known how many episodes this eclectic mix of actors and actresses will be spread over, but even if there will be six episodes, the star density should be very high.

Among others, “Breaking Bad” star Aaron Paul, Kate Mara (“House of Cards”), Michael Cera (“Arrested Development”), Salma Hayek Pinault (“Frida”), Danny Ramirez (“Top Gun: Maverick”), Rob Delaney (“Catastrophe”), Samuel Blenkin (“The French Dispatch”), Annie Murphy (“Russian Doll”) and Josh Hartnett (“Pearl Harbor”) will be on board. And that’s far from all…

NEW RULES FOR SEASON 6

However, it is not yet known in which roles these stars will slip. At all, series creator Charlie Brooker has not yet revealed anything about content of the new “Black Mirror” stories. Speaking to Netflix, however, he explained that he has expanded the parameters of what makes “Black Mirror” stand out quite a bit.

“We have, in addition to some familiar ‘Black Mirror’ themes, some new elements that I had otherwise sworn I would never do,” Brooker further explained, affirming that he even turned his own expectations on their head.

That sounds not only promising, but also pretty interesting. What exactly he means by that, however, we will only see when the dystopian science fiction anthology series flickers across our screens. It is not yet known exactly when this will happen in June.
