“Book Club 2 – A New Chapter” – Backgrounds
The comedy is a sequel to the 2018 film “Book Club,” in which the four girlfriends come across the erotic novel Fifty Shades of Grey one day and take the content as a wake-up call, deciding to chase the pleasures that have eluded them until now. Hotel owner Vivian meets Arthur (Don Johnson), a man whose marriage proposal she rejected 40 years earlier. Diane is recently widowed, and struggles to maintain her independence, while her worried daughters try to persuade her to move closer to them in Arizona. Federal judge Sharon has been single for over 18 years since divorcing her son’s father and longs for love. Carol, meanwhile, has a seemingly perfect marriage to Bruce (Craig T. Nelson), but since he retired, they’ve been lacking intimacy.
“Book Club 2 – A New Chapter” – cast, theatrical release

And also their male co-stars Craig T. Nelson (“With Heart and Jest”), Don Johnson (“Miami Vice”) and Andy Garcia (“Oceans Eleven”) remain with us in the second part.
