The first official Miraculous: Ladybug & Cat Noir, The Movie trailer is out, previewing the first feature film based on the beloved animated franchise.
The movie will be based on the long-running animated series Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir, which has been running since 2015, and is currently airing its fifth season. The series tells the story of two Parisian teenagers who transform into the superheroes Ladybug and Cat Noir in an effort to protext the city.
Miraculous: Ladybug & Cat Noir, The Movie is set to release on Netflix on July 28, 2023.

The movie will be directed by Jeremy Zag, one of the developers of the series. Zag will also co-write the screenplay for the film, alongside Bettina López Mendoza. The movie will star Cristina Vee Valenzuela (Marinette / Ladybug), Bryce Papenbrook (Adrien / Cat Noir), Keith Silverstein (Gabriel Agreste / Hawk Moth), Carrie Keranen (Alya), Selah Victor (Chloé Bourgeois), Zeno Robinson (Nino), Chris Smith (Tom), Anne Yatco (Sabine), Paul St Peter (Wang Fu), Mela Lee (Tikki), Max Mittelman (Plagg), Cassandra Lee Morris (Sabrina), and Sabrina Weisz (Nathalie).
“The first feature film based on the globally beloved Miraculous franchise, Miraculous: Ladybug & Cat Noir, The Movie follows ordinary teenager Marinette, whose life in Paris goes superhuman when she becomes Ladybug,” reads the official logline for the movie. “Bestowed with magical powers of creation, Ladybug must unite with her opposite, Cat Noir, to save Paris as a new villain unleashes chaos unto the city.”
