Few relationships are as fruitful as the one between Mike Flanagan and Netflix. The director behind excellent horror films like Doctor Sleep’s Awakening has already made three series for the streaming service since 2018. Now Goosebumps at Midnight announces the filmmaker’s fourth Netflix series.
After Haunted Hill House, Haunted Bly Manor and Midnight Mass, we now find ourselves in the rooms of a hospital where a group of teenagers tell each other thrilling scary stories. Moreover, the youths have made a pact: Whoever dies first shall contact the others from the afterlife.

Goosebumps at Midnight is based on the 1994 novel of the same name by Christopher Pike, originally titled The Midnight Club. Flanagan developed the concept of the series together with Leah Fong.
When does Goosebumps at Midnight start on Netflix?
Goosebumps at Midnight starts on 7 October 2022 on Netflix. Season 1 will include a total of ten episodes, all of which will be released simultaneously on the streaming service’s platform.
