Season 5 of Stranger Things could begin with a flashback of sorts, taking us back to the origin of the story and telling us what Will experienced in the Upside Down So far, the series has only touched on the traumatizing events, but not fleshed them out. It would make a lot of sense to return to the first encounter with the dark forces in the afterlife at the start of the finale
When does Stranger Things season 5 start on Netflix?
A specific start date has not yet been set. Filming for season 5 has not yet started. The series needs a lot of preparation time and has also gone on a double strike. The screenwriters in Hollywood went on strike from the beginning of May to the end of September 2023. The actors have been on strike since July 2023. The Stranger Things finale is therefore likely to arrive in 2025 at the earliest
