Terrifier 2: Bloody horror sequel from director Damien Leone in which Art the clown, thought dead, returns to terrorise small town Miles County
Plot and Background
Art the Clown (David Howard Thornton) is back – bloodier than ever. In the horror sequel, the killer clown who was thought dead is mysteriously brought back to life and, together with an equally creepy clown girl (Amelie McLain), sets out on the hunt once again. This time, teenage Sienna (Lauren LaVera) and her brother Jonathan (Elliott Fullam) are the objects of his deadly desire. As he makes his way to the siblings, the brutal killer leaves a bloody trail of terror through the sleepy little town of Miles County. In the nerve-wracking finale, Art finally lures Sienna to a remote, abandoned ghost train by kidnapping her younger brother Jonathan.
“Terrifier 2” – Cast, background, theatrical release
Director Damien Leone brings “Terrifier 2”, another film starring his eerie creation, the popular horror clown Art, to the big screen. The film adaptation is mainly thanks to the Terrifier fans. They donated so diligently that the crowdfunding goal of 50,000 US dollars was reached in less than three hours and filmmaker Leone was able to realise the independent horror project.
As in the first part “Terrifier”, actor David Howard Thornton once again dons the costume of the merciless clown Art and causes fear and terror. Samantha Scaffidi also makes another appearance. She plays Victoria Heyes, Art’s only surviving victim from the first part. Lauren LaVera (“Iron Fist”) and Elliott Fullam (“Instinct”) were in front of the camera as the sibling couple Sienna and Jonathan. Other roles include Chris Jericho, Felissa Rose, Griffin Santopietro, Sarah Voigt, Casey Hartnett and Tamara Glynn.
The brutal horror flick premiered at FrightFest in London and is already a big hit in America. The Uncut version of “Terrifier 2” is released in this country from the age of 18 and can be seen in selected cinemas from 8 December 2022.
