Literally translated, it means suicide squad or suicide squad. And that is exactly what the “Suicide Squad” is about. A secret branch of the government called “A.R.G.U.S” introduces “Task Force X” under the leadership of Amanda Waller (Viola Davis). This involves sending convicted super-villains on missions that have a high failure rate. Since the criminals are easily expendable, the dangerous tasks are left to them. To make these deadly assignments worthwhile for the elite creeps, the American government offers them a reduction in their prison sentences in return. Crazy or desperate enough to get involved in these risky missions, the criminals Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie), Captain Boomerang (Jai Courtney), Rick Flagg (Joel Kinnaman), Enchantress (Cara Delevingne), El Diablo (Jay Hernandez) or Deadshot (Will Smith) form an unusual team. The director will be David Ayer, who became known for films like “End of Watch” or “Heart of Steel” and is also writing the screenplay. In addition to the aforementioned stars, Jared Leto will also be seen slipping into the iconic role of the Joker.
