The third season of Demon Slayer finally has a release date, with Ufotable announcing that the next entry in the hit anime will premiere on April 9, 2023.
The third season — which is set to adapt the series’ Swordsmith Village Arc — will begin with a one-hour special on April 9. The news was confirmed by a tweet on Demon Slayer‘s official Twitter account, with a video that briefly previews the anime’s opening theme song, “Kizuna no Kiseki” (Bonds of Miracle) by Man With A Mission and milet.

For those looking to check out Demon Slayer Season 3 prior to its official premiere, it was announced that the third season of the series would premiere in a theatrical experience for fans, with showings taking place on March 3.
The theatrical event will include a feature-length cut of episodes 10 and 11 from Season 2’s adaptation of the Entertainment District Arc, as well as the premiere of the third season, which will be an extended length and run for an hour in 4K with remastered audio. Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is a shonen manga series created by Koyoharu Gotouge. Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump serialized the manga from February 2016 to May 2020. The anime adaptation by studio Ufotable first premiered in April 2019. Haruo Sotozaki is directing the series.
