A feast for 007 fans: Amazon Prime Video now offers almost the entire “James Bond” series.

For all those who prefer their vodka martini shaken rather than stirred, almost the entire “James Bond” series is now available as an Amazon Prime Video subscription. “No Time to Die” is missing, but there is the brand new documentary “The Sound Of 007”.

For most streaming services, October is always dominated by Halloween. But Amazon Prime Video has another special occasion this year: exactly 60 years ago, on 5 October 1962, “James Bond – 007 chases Dr. No” premiered. Back then, no one probably saw coming that this would be the prelude to one of the most famous and long-lasting film series of all time, which will still be drawing crowds to the cinemas in 2022, with the most famous stars on the planet vying for its leading role.

To celebrate the 60th anniversary of the big screen, Amazon is giving all Prime subscribers the (almost) ultimate Bond gift: the first 24 films of the 007 saga created by Eon Productions are available on Amazon Prime Video from today at no extra cost. At the time of publication of this article, “On Her Majesty’s Secret Service”, “The Spy Who Loved Me” and “The World Is Not Enough” were still missing, but we strongly assume that they will be added later today. We’ve been monitoring the situation throughout the day and new Bond films kept being added to the subscription, rather than all at once.

The fact that we get almost the complete 007 series in the Prime subscription is great on the one hand, but on the other hand it’s a real shame that Germany is one of the few countries where there are just 24 films. Because in the rest of the world, the complete series, including the latest agent blockbuster “No Time to Die”, is added to the Prime subscription. In Germany it probably failed because of the streaming rights, which are currently still held by Sky. If you want to stream “Bond 25” without additional costs, you currently need a Sky Pay TV or WOW subscription:

MORE JAMES BOND WITH “THE SOUND OF 007” ON AMAZON PRIME VIDEO

But for those who already know the old chestnuts of the double-0 agent inside out and don’t want to be served the same films over and over again, Amazon Prime Video also has brand new 007 supplies.

The Sound of 007 is about perhaps the most famous film score in the world. Bond actor Daniel Craig, star composer Hans Zimmer, “No Time To Die” singer Billie Eilish and other stars talk in the documentary about the iconic sounds that characterise a 007 adventure.
