Amazon & Netflix make common cause for “Knives Out 2”: (Only)

Daniel Craig aka top detective Benoit Blanc makes the impossible possible: For the streaming launch of “Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery”, competitors Netflix and Amazon are teaming up to deliver an exclusive experience to film fans via Fire TV.

To see Netflix and Amazon joining forces seemed almost unimaginable until now. After all, the Prime Video platform, which belongs to Amazon, and Netflix are engaged in a bitter competition for the title of most-used streaming service. But Daniel Craig is once again providing surprises in the role of the brilliant detective Benoit Blanc: On the occasion of the Netflix launch of “Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery”, the major streaming competitors are entering into an extraordinary partnership!

For those interested with Fire TV Stick or another Amazon branded Fire TV device, access to exclusive footage surrounding the “Knives Out” sequel will be granted. After the critically acclaimed “Knives Out”, which was a global surprise success with paying audiences, “Glass Onion” goes one better in many respects: the setting is more debauched, the group of suspects is larger and the story is both more ambitiously told and clearly more humorous. This earned the sequel a strong four stars in the FILMSTARTS review, not least thanks to a committed cast.

By the way, more from Benoit Blanc is already being planned: A third part has been given the green light together with “Glass Onion”. However, a start of shooting is not yet in sight, let alone a release date: Johnson is currently still in the early script development phase.
