Even though season 4 narrowly missed making it onto our top list, the first three seasons were guaranteed places on our respective lists of the best series of the year. But “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” was not only showered with praise by us, 20 Emmys and three Golden Globes also speak for themselves. Created by “Gilmore Girls” creator Amy Sherman-Palladino, the opulently furnished and razor-sharp written dramedy is definitely one of the front-runners when it comes to the best series on Amazon Prime Video.
It will be all the more difficult for many fans to say goodbye now. Because in less than a month, Amazon will be ringing in the fifth and final season of “Mrs. Maisel”. But at least this way the series won’t be unnecessarily drawn out, but will hopefully say goodbye on a high…

After every success was followed by several setbacks, Midge Maisel (Rachel Brosnahan) was about to bury her dream of a big comedy career in the midst of a male-dominated industry. And indeed, the final breakthrough now really seems within her grasp – even though new challenges are already waiting for her. The final fifth season of “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” starts on 14 April 2023 on Amazon Prime Video. The series will kick off with three episodes at once, followed by individual episodes every week on Fridays.
