Fans of Amazon’s hit The Boys will have to wait even longer for season 4. Due to the Hollywood strike of the writers, the start date for the new episodes is not even known yet.
A consolation awaits fans in the form of the first spin-off of the superhero smash. The launch month for the spin-off Gen V has now been set.
The Boys spin-off coming to Amazon Prime in September
Amazon Prime has shared a new video on Twitter teasing the streaming service’s upcoming series highlights:

It is also revealed here that The Boys spin-off Gen V will launch on Prime in September. An exact date is yet to follow.
The spin-off revolves around young superhero:ins at college who must learn to manage their powers. In the process, they will also compete against each other while their hormone levels go crazy.

When is The Boys season 4 coming?
The fourth season of the Amazon hit has already been shot. But with The Boys, much of the dialogue is written in post-production and voiced by the stars afterwards.
As the script writers are currently shutting down their work due to the Hollywood strike, it is not known when The Boys season 4 will finally be completed and released.
