Netflix has released the official Neon trailer for its upcoming music comedy-drama starring Tyler Dean Flores, who first made his acting debut in Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight Rises in 2012. The series will start streaming on October 19.
The video introduces Flores’ Santi, an aspiring reggaeton artist who dreams of becoming the biggest star in reggaeton. With the help of his two closest friends, Santi must do everything he can to make it into the competitive music industry. It also teases the appearance of several music stars including Daddy Yankee and Villano Antillano.

What to expect in Neon?
“From small-town Florida to the bustling beaches and bright lights of Miami, Neon follows three friends as they hustle their way to making it big in the world of reggaeton,” reads the synopsis. “The eight-episode comedy captures not only the three besties’ larger-than-life dreams, but also the harsh realities and funny mishaps of surviving the music industry.”
Neon is created and executive produced by Shea Serrano and Max Searle, who also serves as the showrunner. Joining Flores are Emma Ferreira as, Jordan Mendoza as Felix, Courtney Taylor as Mia, Santiago Cabrera as Oscar, Jordana Brewster as Gina, Genesis Rodriguez as Isa, Zack Fox as Zale, Jhayco as Javier Luna, and more.
The series is executive produced by SB Projects, Anne Clements and Daddy Yankee, with Tainy & One Six (Lex Borrero and Ivan Rodriguez) set as the executive music producers.
