The Fast & Furious films with Vin Diesel roll into Netflix: You can’t get more action and stars

For over two decades, the Fast & Furious franchise has dominated blockbuster cinema. The cast around Vin Diesel in particular has grown steadily. It all started with Paul Walker, Michelle Rodriguez and Jordana Brewster. Hollywood stars such as Charlize Theron, Jason Statham and Brie Larson are now also part of the family.

Even Dwayne Johnson, who has since fallen out with Diesel, returned to the Fast & Furious family in the latest installment of the series and is set to play an important role again in the future of the action series. So far, eleven films have been released in this series. You can now stream eight of them on Netflix.

These are the following titles:

The Fast and the Furious (Rob Cohen, 2001)
2 Fast 2 Furious (John Singleton, 2003)
The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift (Justin Lin, 2006)
Fast & Furious – New model. Original parts. (Justin Lin, 2009)
Fast & Furious Five (Justin Lin, 2011)
Fast & Furious 6 (Justin Lin, 2013)
Fast & Furious 7 (James Wan, 2015)
Fast & Furious 8 (F. Gary Gray, 2017)

Three Fast & Furious films are still missing from Netflix:

Fast & Furious: Hobbs & Shaw (David Leitch, 2019)
Fast & Furious 9 (Justin Lin, 2021)
Fast & Furious 10 (Louis Leterrier, 2023)

How will the Fast & Furious series continue in the future?

There are currently two Fast & Furious films planned that we can definitely count on. On the one hand, we can expect a classic sequel, Fast & Furious 11, which is scheduled for release in April 2025. In addition, another spin-off with Dwayne Johnson was recently announced.

In Fast & Furious: Hobbs & Reyes, Luke Hobbs and Jason Momoa’s villain Dante Reyes meet. The film is reportedly intended to set the stage for the events of Fast & Furious 11. In terms of time, however, this is likely to be very tight. We can probably expect a few more postponements to the start date for Fast & Furious.
