One of Nicolas Cage’s most popular films is being continued. New information is finally available about part 2 of the bizarre drama about an arms dealer

Arms dealers always survive. This not only applies to the international job market, but in the case of Lord of War – Dealer of Death also to the cultural memory of cinema fans. The popular drama about the unscrupulous Yuri Orlov (Nicolas Cage) will soon be followed by a second part. And preparations for filming are apparently in full swing.

3000 real weapons for part 1: Nicolas Cage’s Lord of War 2 is being filmed in Morocco

As Variety reports, part of the film is to be shot in Morocco, which, according to producer Karim Debbagh (Lommbock), can be used in a variety of ways due to its infrastructure and vegetation. According to the report, filming at the location will take place in March 2024

Lord of War 2, now titled Lords of War, once again centers on Yuri Orlov, this time competing with his son (Bill Skarsgård). Andrew Niccol, who bought 3000 real weapons for part 1 of the Nicolas Cage series, is to direct again.

When will Lords of War be released in cinemas?

An exact start date for Lords of War is not yet known. Based on the time frame of the filming in Morocco, we expect the release to be at the end of 2024 at the earliest.
