Since October 2023, The Therapy has been available to stream on Amazon Prime – the first series adaptation of a Sebastian Fitzek novel. His thriller was published in 2006 and became a huge success again this year as a mini-series.

This is what The Way Home is about: Jules (Sabin Tambrea) works for a telephone escort service that women can contact on their way home. He receives a call from the young mother Klara (Luise Heyer). She claims that she will be killed tonight by a notorious murderer of women who has given her an ultimatum: she must kill her husband – or be killed herself that very night. With Jules’ help, she desperately tries to find a way out over the phone

Cast of Der Heimweg: Sabin Tambrea (Babylon Berlin) and Luise Heyer (Der Junge muss an die frische Luft) can be seen in the leading roles as the murder victim in spe and her telephone companion. Friedrich Mücke (Ballon) plays the threatened husband. The cast also includes Andreas Döhler (Im Westen nichts Neues), Dennenesch Zoudé (Unorthodox) and Isabel Thierauch (Zwischen Sommer und Herbst).
