WOW subscription streams a fantasy double bill that has long since become a major franchise. The new installment of the iconic series opens in cinemas at the end of March 2024.
It’s hard to imagine pop culture today without Ghostbusters. In 1984, director Ivan Reitman created a wonderfully entertaining mix of fantasy, sci-fi and comedy with the star power of actors such as Bill Murray and Dan Aykroyd, which became cult. You can watch the first part and the sequel Ghostbusters 2 on Sky’s streaming service WOW in the Flat.
Fantasy cult in the stream: That’s what Ghostbusters is all about
In the first part of the series, we meet the three scientists Peter Venkman (Bill Murray), Raymond Stantz (Dan Aykroyd) and Egon Spengler (Harold Ramis), who investigate paranormal phenomena after losing their jobs. In Ghostbusters 1, the ghost hunters have to deal with the deity Gozor, who wants to destroy the Earth.

In Ghostbusters 2, the trio’s ghost hunting license was revoked after the chaos of part 1. However, they are soon torn from their normal, dull jobs again when a new danger haunts New York.
New Ghostbusters sequel opens in cinemas at the end of March 2024
Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire will be released in cinemas on March 28, 2024. The new part follows on from the Ghostbusters reboot Ghostbusters: Legacy from 2021 and continues the story of the young ghost hunters around Grooberson (Paul Rudd). This time, New York is gripped by a mysterious icy spell that freezes people into statues
