The film is a “top-class action powerhouse”, says Erik Davis from Fandango. He promises a “wild and relentlessly paced movie” with “the craziest chases” and “bombastic characters”. One scene in particular appealed to him and is an “instant classic”, says Davis.

operates in an extremely different gear than Fury Road (in ways that i suspect will frustrate some people), but also manages to make that movie even richer while carving its own legend in the wasteland.

“I’m very pleased to say that Furiosa is really, really good,” agrees David Ehrlich from IndieWire. But in one respect, he differs from the opinions of many of his colleagues and admits: “The movie operates at a very different pace to Fury Road”. As he suspects, this difference will frustrate some fans of its predecessor.
