We’ve also selected several other exciting horror films that are scheduled for completion in 2025 – including new films from horror masters such as Guillermo del Toro, Mike Flanagan and David Cronenberg. Even though they don’t yet have a fixed release date in Germany, a release is planned this year.
Three more sequels are added to the five already known sequels of long-running horror series that have more than one sequel, so that a total of ten major franchises will return in 2025: The Exorcist, Final Destination, 28 Days Later, Insidious and Conjuring are joined by new entries in the following list for Fear Street, Silent Hill, V/H/S, The Strangers and Saw.
