The Equalizer 3: Final installment of the action trilogy starring Denzel Washington as ex-government agent Robert McCall as he takes on the mafia in southern Italy.
Plot and background
The sense of justice of Robert McCall (Denzel Washington) has already put him in life-threatening situations many times. Formerly in the service of the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), he worked for the US agency and was a human killing machine. He left that life behind for his wife, but saw himself destined to take action in the face of great injustice.
He has since found a new home in southern Italy, living a quiet life on the Mediterranean and enjoying the culture and the people. When a family friend has to fear for her life because she has fallen out with the Mafia, McCall has to take action again. He takes on the Mafia single-handedly. To protect his friends, he must once again rely on his instincts.
