For Jurassic World 3: A New Age, she was nevertheless urged to lose weight, as she reveals to Metro. “[I] was asked not to use my natural body in the cinema.” The studio have approached her directly with a request that she lose weight for the latest instalment of the dino adventure.

Director Colin Trevorrow has stood protectively in front of Howard, making it clear to the studio that this is not the way the wants to go about the third Jurassic World film. “[Colin] said, ‘There are a lot of different women on the planet and that’s why there are a lot of different women in our movie,'” Howard is quoted as saying.

As recently as August, Howard came out to address another grievance in Hollywood: salaries that differ by gender. In an interview with Insider, she revealed that she earned significantly less than her co-star Chris Pratt during the first part of the Jurassic World trilogy.
