In The Walking Dead spin-off to Darryl and Carol, the latter character was not supposed to return. But Norman Reedus is now teasing the opposite.
It was a big disappointment for The Walking Dead fans. In the already announced spin-off to fan favourites Darryl (Norman Reedus) and Carol (Melissa McBride), the latter character was surprisingly not supposed to appear at all. With new statements Reedus now hints at the exact opposite. There is a lot of confusion.
Norman Reedus confuses The Walking Dead fans: “It’s going to be okay “
When McBride announced her exit from the spin-off, Reedus stood firmly behind his The Walking Dead co-star’s decision. But now he seems to be raising the prospect of their return once again in an interview with Variety
“How do you know she’s not coming back? That’s all I can say. [Carol] is a big part of Daryl’s story. It’s going to be okay. “
Further in the conversation, he links McBride’s exit to the unclear circumstances for the spin-off. The stressful filming and the announcement of the end of the mother series could have caused the departure. Which the actors may have later revised.
When will The Walking Dead spin-off with Daryl be released?
No official announcement from the producers or McBrides, however. What is behind Reedus’ enigmatic statements may not be known for several months. The Walking Dead spin-off is scheduled for release later in 2023.
