Besides Black Adam, the upcoming DC blockbuster introduces an all-new superhero:in team. We introduce you to the characters who will once again be covered by Dwayne Johnson.
With all the promo about Dwayne Johnson, people sometimes forget that Black Adam also introduces a whole new superhero team. The Justice Society of America (JSA) fights for good and so will clash with Black Adam. He wants to take revenge as a villain in the present after being imprisoned for around 5,000 years.
Black Adam introduces no less than four new characters from the JSA alongside the title character of The Rock, which we introduce to you in more detail with their stars before the cinema release.

Black Adam hero: Aldis Hodge plays Carter Hall aka Hawkman
In the comic book original, Carter Hall is an archaeologist who is also the reincarnation of the Egyptian prince Khufu. As a superpower, in addition to his physical strength, he wears a suit of Nth metal that defies gravity and makes him very durable. He is one of the oldest members of the Justice Society of America.
In the upcoming film, he is played by Aldis Hodge, who has appeared in Straight Outta Compton and the series City on a Hill, among others.

Black Adam hero: Pierce Brosnan plays Kent Nelson aka Dr. Fate
Dr. Fate is something like the Doctor Strange of the DC Universe. As the wearer of the ancient golden helmet of Nabu, he is a master of magic, can conjure up illusions and see into the future. Like Hawkman, he is one of the oldest founding members of the JSA.
In Black Adam, Kent Nelson aka Dr. Fate is played by Pierce Brosnan. We certainly don’t need to introduce you to the former James Bond actor in more detail.

Black Adam hero: Noah Centineo plays Al Rothstein aka Atom Smasher
In the upcoming DC blockbuster, Noah Centineo plays 20-year-old Al Rothstein. Centineo was best known as a Netflix star from romantic comedies like the To All the Boys series.
In Black Adam, Al is able to enlarge his body structure to grow to skyscraper size. He should thus live up to his superhero name Atom Smasher.

Black Adam heroine: Quintessa Swindell plays Maxine Hunkel aka Cyclone
A younger up-and-coming member of the Justice Society of America in Black Adam is also 19-year-old Maxine Hunkel. In the plot of the DC film, she has been subjected to nanotechnology experiments by evil scientists:inside. This has given her the ability to control the wind with her mind power.

In Black Adam, Cyclone is played by Quintessa Swindell. Previous roles for the actress include a smaller part in the controversial HBO series Euphoria. Alongside Joel Edgerton, she plays one of the main roles in the upcoming Paul Schrader film Master Gardener.
