Intense demon horror with “Silent Hill” star: Eerie trailer for

by Albert

Some people are willing to do anything to get ahead. A number of scary films are based on this fact, and “Devil’s Workshop” is just the latest, although it takes a rather original approach. Watch the trailer here:

In “Devil’s Workshop” we meet unsuccessful actor Clayton (Timothy Granaderos). After auditioning for a film role as a demonologist, he senses his chance to finally get his big break with this one. However, he is not yet sure of the part. His eternal rival, the conceited and unfortunately also much more talented Donald (Emile Hirsch), is also in the running.

In order to finally be able to outdo Donald, Clayton takes an unusual route: he wants to get even closer to the role and convince the producers with real insider knowledge. That’s why he hires Eliza (Radha Mitchell) for the upcoming weekend – an expert in devil lore who is supposed to help him with the preparations.

The visit with Eliza, however, turns out to be a lot hairier than Clayton had imagined. The eccentric woman forces him to confront his dark past, perform satanic rituals and even sacrifice a goat. Does she really want to help Clayton, perhaps seduce him sexually or simply destroy him psychologically?

“Devil’s Workshop” opened in North America on 30 September 2022 in selected cinemas and simultaneously in streaming. No information is available at this time regarding a release date or the type of release in Germany.

THESE ARE THE MAKERS AND CAST OF “DEVIL’S WORKSHOP “

The script and production of “Devil’s Workshop” are by Chris von Hoffmann, the director of the two FSK 18 shockers “Monster Party” and “Drifter – Live In Fear”.

The main role is played by Timothy Granaderos from the Netflix hit series “Dead Girls Don’t Lie”. His two co-stars are even more famous: Emile Hirsch, the lead actor of the excellent “Into The Wild”, as well as Radha Mitchell from the video game adaptation “Silent Hill” and the still highly recommended survival thriller “The Crazies”.
