After months of secrecy: First trailer for one of the biggest

One of next year’s most exciting series projects finally has a trailer. The crime series Poker Face comes from Star Wars 8 creator Rian Johnson.

Rian Johnson (Star Wars 8, Knives Out) is considered by many to be one of the most talented directors around. All the more reason to get excited about his new series Poker Face, for which there is finally a trailer after months of secrecy. An army of stars awaits us on the crime road trip.

Star Wars 8 director makes crime series: Poker Face comes with an incredible amount of stars

The series will revolve around Charlie Cane (Natasha Lyonne), who cruises around the US in her vintage Plymouth. She possesses the mysterious ability to see through the lies of those around her instantly and is thus confronted with a new mystery week after week.

According to the Monster of the Week format, Cane will constantly encounter new characters, embodied by a large number of well-known stars. Joining him in front of the camera are Adrien Brody (The Pianist), Ron Perlman (Hellboy) and Joseph Gordon-Levitt (Inception), among others.

When is Poker Face coming to Germany?

Johnson and co-creator Lyonne have yet to reveal exactly which stories Poker Face will revolve around. As a series from NBC streamer Peacock, the series will come to Sky in this country. In the US, it will be released on 26 January 2023. There is no certain date for Germany yet.
