In a new video, Dwayne Johnson talks about Black Adam and Henry Cavill’s Superman return. In his announcement, he also dishes out against the studio.
With Black Adam, Dwayne Johnson has fulfilled a dream of all DC fans and brought back Henry Cavill as Superman. However, he had to fight quite a bit for this action and even had to go behind the back of the DC boss at the time.
Now the star has shared another video on Twitter celebrating Black Adam and accusing the studio of acting irresponsibly over Superman.

Black Adam star Dwayne Johnson thinks Superman behaviour is unforgivable
On Twitter The Rock posted a new video in which he successfully celebrates Black Adam (yet again) as changing the power structure in the DC Universe. For him, this includes the achievement of bringing the Justice Society of America to the attention of the general public.
For him, however, the Superman return as the appearance of the greatest power in the entire universe against Black Adam was also decisive. In the process, he also dishes out a dig at DC:
“And at the end of the day, the studio did not bring Henry Cavill back, inexplicably and unforgivably. But we weren’t going to take no for an answer. Myself, my co-founder and president of Seven Bucks, Dany Garcia, Hiram Garcia, our president of Seven Bucks. It took years to bring Henry Cavill back. And years of strategic conversations and we wouldn’t take no for an answer. “
For Dwayne Johnson, the future of the DC movie universe is unthinkable without Henry Cavill’s Superman. However, the DC boss at the time, Walter Hamada, wanted to leave Snyder’s superhero universe behind for good and was against the Black Adam star’s plan. He then went behind Hamada’s back to current Warner Bros. Pictures executives Michael De Luca and Pamela Abdy, who gave him the go-ahead for Cavill’s cameo appearance.
