New Spider-Man animated film will easily top multiverse mayhem from No Way Home again
In the new film from the animated Spider-Man universe, Miles Morales (Shameik Moore) must fight a powerful new enemy along with other Peter Parkers from the different universes. The voices of the various Peter Parker versions in the original are provided by Oscar Isaac and Jake Johnson, among others.
This time, screenwriters Phil Lord and Christopher Miller spread the story across six universes, each getting its own special animation style. In addition to the usual brightly coloured visuals, the number of characters is also significantly increased in the sequel. A whopping 240 Marvel characters are to appear in the animated Spider-Man sequel.
Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse opens in cinemas in Germany on 1 June 2023. A third part has also already been announced. Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse is then scheduled for release on 28 March 2024.
