The time has finally come: The best film of the past year is available on streaming subscription and captivates not only sci-fi fans with its incredible mix of genres.

2022 saw the clash of the multiverses. Spider-Man: No Way Home had presented well, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness wanted to follow suit. But the winner was the crown of infinite dimensions Everything Everywhere All at Once. The incomparable sci-fi thriller is number one on Moviepilot’s list of the 25 best films of last year, and rightly so. Now it’s available to stream on Sky Cinema and WOW.

Sci-fi smash Everything Everywhere All at Once impresses with incredible images

It’s difficult just to break the film down to a story and genre. Everything Everywhere All at Once begins as an immigrant:inside story, turns into martial arts action and sci-fi multiverse fun, then illuminates the big questions of life

Etwhen two stones talk. Or a donut threatens the end of all life. No fun. But it all starts with Evelyn Wang (Michelle Yeoh) trying to save her tax return and her marriage. This brightly coloured genre concoction was nominated for 11 Oscars.

The film not only convinces with its wild images, but also with great performances by Yeoh and her colleagues, including Ke Huy Quan and Jamie Lee Curtis. The film was directed by Dan Kwan and Daniel Scheinert, who already showed a flair for the bizarre in Swiss Army Man. Everything Everywhere All at Once is a film whose breathless cocktail of ideas is more daring than almost any other. You simply have to see it.
