Gladiator star Russell Crowe battles ancient horror demon

In The Pope’s Exorcist, veteran Amorth (Crowe) is called to his toughest case yet. He finds out that his adversary is an ancient demon against whom the Church is fighting not for the first time. And he seems to have only the role of a small token in this fight.

Director Julius Avery (Operation: Overlord) is known, among other things, for his atmospheric staging. Crowe is joined in front of the camera by a host of stars, from Game of Thrones veteran Ralph Ineson to Western legend and John Wick 2 actor Franco Nero.
