Following House of Money, Elite and Who Murdered Sara, Netflix presents its next thriller with Spanish-speaking stars in Mute a.k.a. Mute.
He played fan favourite Ander Muñoz in Netflix hit Elite, but Arón Piper is turning darker pages for his next series on the streaming service. In Silent a.k.a. Mute, he plays a young man who killed his own parents. Find out what to expect from the thriller in the teaser trailer for the series.

What’s the Netflix series with Elite star Arón Piper about?
Piper plays Sergio, who murdered his parents and served six years in prison for it. Yet he never spoke a word. Now he is released, but his motives for the crime remain a mystery. Psychiatrist Ana (Almudena Amor) wants to find out the motives of the so-called balcony killer. Can Sergio become part of society again or does he pose a danger? Ana and her team have to decide. That is why they observe the young man day and night.
Silencio (the original title) is a miniseries that will consist of eight episodes. Besides Arón Piper and Almudena Amor (La Abuela – She’s Waiting for You), Manu Ríos, who played Patrick Blanco in Elite, is also part of the cast. Mute was created by Aitor Gabilondo (Patria).
Mute will come to Netflix in May 2023. Arón Piper, meanwhile, sees his future not only with the streaming service. He also takes on one of the lead roles in the Amazon Prime Video series Sayen from Chile.
