James Bond favourite shows up as Tarantino hitman in action blockbuster
In John Wick director David Leitch’s adrenaline-fuelled smash hit, a whimsical tale full of twists and turns revolves around a suitcase of money, a son gone astray, a host of hit men and a high-speed Shinkansen train on which the characters massacre each other. Brad Pitt plays the scheduled professional who is really just looking for meaning in life. Aaron Taylor-Johnson plays the exact opposite.
His character Tangerine (“Tangerine”) works with brother Lemon (“Lemon”, played by Brian Tyree Henry) to return a spoilt youngster (Logan Lerman) to his father. Much like the two greatest heroes in Quentin Tarantino’s Pulp Fiction, they engage in whimsical conversational battles about their nicknames, the children’s series character Thomas the Little Engine, or the number of murders they’ve committed so far.
